Academic writings

Dr Victoria Lowe is Lecturer in Drama/Screen Studies at the University of Manchester. She has written extensively about Robert Donat’s work for publication in academic journals, and has 12 years professional experience in radio, film and television. She co-produced short films for 3 years and has been a script reader for the BBC Radio Drama Department in Manchester and Film Education Manager at FACT in Liverpool. We are delighted that Vicky has given us permission to share her work here, and thank her very much for her help and enthusiasm which has given us tremendous encouragement.
