Dismayed by the lack of information on the internet about the sublime Robert Donat, one of Britain’s finest actors, we elected to quit moaning and do something about it!
It’s very much a work in progress, so bear with us, and call back regularly, as we add information, reviews, images and links.We are particularly keen to expand our information on RD’s stage and radio performances, so please contact us if you would like to contribute, have information to offer or can correct or add to information we have included.

Author of three books about classic film stars published under the name Jenny Curtis, Jenny is equally well-known in the world of classic movie geekdom as Nipper. If you’ve ever seen Bringing Up Baby or The Awful Truth, you may remember Jerry the Nipper on which the nom de blog is an obvious pun. If you haven’t seen those movies quit reading this dang blog already and start watching some movies.
